How it works
Tagging messages: As email arrives in your folder, the Exchange Online mail server will automatically flag all messages coming from domains that are not part of your environment with “zunanje” (“External”). The label appears in the email client, helping users to quickly identify that the email is from a sender outside their organization or that it is a so-called phishing, when someone tries to use the domain of a company they don't have permission to send emails on.
Safety and security: This feature is part of a broader strategy to improve email security. By clearly labeling external messages, the risk of errors in receiving emails with potentially harmful content or spam is reduced.
User experience: When a user receives a message with a label “zunanje” (“External”), can immediately recognize that it comes from outside their organization. This increases awareness and enables better protection against potential security threats.
Why is this important?
This functionality helps reduce the risk of errors in email processing, increases security and accuracy in receiving messages, and allows for better control over external communication. By labeling external emails“External Tag”) makes identifying potentially dangerous messages easier and faster.
